Location.The Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort is located seven miles from downtown Phoenix, Ariz., next to Squaw Peak Mountain Preserve. The property is less than six miles from the Echo Canyon Recreation Area. The Arizona Diamondbacks play at Chase Field nine miles from the hotel.
Hotel Features. This classic Spanish Mediterranean style resort features a four acre complex of outdoor pools, a lazy river for tubing and a winding waterslide. Lighted tennis courts allow for day and night play. The fitness center offers Pilates and aerobics classes, cardiovascular and weight training equipment and a lap pool. On site Tocasierra Spa and Salon offers beauty and body treatments including hot stone massage and seaweed facials. Hair salon services include waxing and manicures.
Guestrooms. The Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort's 563 guest suites are decorated with warm, earth toned color schemes. Bedding features the Hilton Serenity Bed with pillowtop mattresses, down duvets and hypoallergenic down pillows. Televisions and phones are available in both the bedrooms and sitting areas while sofa beds and minibars are provided in sitting areas. High speed Internet access, video game consoles and newspapers are complimentary. Guest bathrooms feature complimentary Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries.
Expert Tip. Children ages four to 12 get a hands on introduction to Arizona's colorful Western folklore, culture and geography at Coyote Camp, operated by the Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort. Activities include swimming, cooking and creating art projects. Activities are centered around daily themes such as "Desert Friends" or "Arizona Day." The program is open to children of all registered guests, and advance reservations are required.
