El Andaluz Erlebnishotel is a Mediterranean themed hotel based on the Spanish finca style, located next to Europa Park in Rust, seven kilometres from the Black Forest. This hotel features 192 family friendly guestrooms, decorated in the style of an Andalusian country finca, with wooden furnishings, terracotta floors and mosaic tiles; amenities include wireless Internet connections, cable television and direct dial phones.
While enjoying the Mediterranean feel of a traditional Spanish finca, guests can cool off with a dip in the outdoor pool, part of the hotel's 'Pueblo del agua' children's water park, which is surrounded by tropical gardens, or relax in the sauna, solarium, and steam bath. Family friendly amenities include indoor and outdoor adventure playgrounds, two children's pools with waterslides and organised activities and entertainment including film shows and kids' discos. Guests can relax with a drink in the bar designed as a circus tent with terraces overlooking the hotel's Mediterranean gardens before dining on Spanish cuisine in the Andalusian restaurant. Guests can also enjoy a visit to the medieval themed bar and restaurant of the adjacent Castillo Alcazar. Other practical amenities include a hair salon, dry cleaning service and currency exchange, while complimentary parking is available for guests arriving by car. The hotel is situated on the site of Germany's largest theme park, Europa Park, to which guests enjoy priority access and which features areas themed to represent Europe along with a number of attractions and rides. The Black Forest is seven kilometres from the hotel and the Triberg Waterfalls are 40 kilometres away. Basel Airport is 80 kilometres away with an approximate driving time of 60 minutes.

The hotels offer an airport transfer service for an additional fee. Alternatively, taxis run to Freiburg and cost around �110. From there, a public bus is available to Rust. The complex can be explored comfortably on foot. A car is recommended for exploring further the rest of the region and visiting nearby towns.
