The modern Elbotel is set in verdant garden with a lily pond and is located just three kilometres from the historic centre of Rostock. The 99 guestrooms are spread over five floors and have a bright simple decor with modern art prints. All include cable televisions with pay movies, direct dial telephones, minibars and hair dryers.
Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the hotel restaurant serves regional specialities such as Mecklenburg Roast Rib of Beef and Baked Ostsee Herring. There is outdoor patio seating in summer months and barbecue nights. There is also a bar for a drink or cocktail after a busy day. Guests can relax in the sauna, top up their tan in the solarium or work out using the hotel's modern fitness equipment. Staff at the 24 hour front desk can provide safety deposit boxes and an express check in and out service, and can arrange dry cleaning. A gift shop sells souvenirs and holiday essentials and motorists will find ample free parking spaces on site. Rostock's Modern Art Gallery is 500 metres away and the historic centre of the city is within three kilometres of the hotel. Rostock Airport is 40 kilometres away with an approximate driving time of 45 minutes.

The best way to reach the hotel is by car. Buses 116 and 127 also run from the airport to the hotel's vicinity.
Driving directions: From the airport take the B103 towards Rostock and on approaching the city turn left onto Muhlendamm. Follow signs to the B103 and then turn right onto Schwartzer Weg, left onto Eikbomweg and finally right onto Fritz Triddelfitz Weg where the hotel is located.
