The Steigenberger Hotel Sanssouci is a modern building facing Brandenberg Gate 100 metres from Sanssouci Garden in the exclusive and historic Potsdam area. This four storey hotel features 137 guestrooms, all of which are decorated in warm earth tones with cane furniture. All rooms have ceiling fans, direct dial phones, wireless Internet, cable television, and minibars.
The Steigenberger Hotel Sanssouci Restaurant offers international and regional specialities served in an Art Deco style setting with white tablecloths and an informal atmosphere. On the Kutscherhof Terrace guests can sample Werder fruit wine, Berliner beers and an array of regional dishes, while Friedrich's Bistrobar serves snacks and drinks in a relaxed ambience decorated with antique furnishings and photographs of Hollywood matinee idols. Six air conditioned and soundproofed conference rooms cater for seminars, banquets and functions of up to 120 persons. Guests can wind down after business or tourism by relaxing in the sauna or steam bath or receiving a soothing massage (surcharge). The hotel garage is available for parking. Excursions can be arranged (surcharge) to Sanssouci Park as well as boat trips on the lakes by the Havel River, while the ornate Marble Palace is five kilometres away. Berlin Tegel Airport (TXL) is 45 minutes by car, 30 kilometres from the hotel.
