The Seehotel Binz Therme Rugen is a modern spa hotel with thermal springs, situated next to a forest and sandy beach 11 kilometres from Putbus on the Baltic island of Rugen. The hotel has 143 guestrooms with modern decor in light colours and carpeted floors. All guestrooms open on to balconies and include minibars, satellite television with premium channels and pay movies, direct dial telephones, wireless Internet and clock radios. Bathrooms are complete with bathrobes, hair dryers and toiletries.
Guests can soak away their stresses in the hotel's two indoor pools, which are fed by Rugen's curative hot thermal springs. There is also an extensive wellness and beauty centre offering a range of treatments and a sauna, solarium, steam room and fitness equipment. Children can join in the fun activities at the supervised kids' club. There is a patio and picnic area and the hotel is right next to the sandy beach. The smoke free Bernstein restaurant has a large conservatory area and serves a wide menu of regional and international dishes, and guests can enjoy drinks, cocktails and light snacks at the Sundowner brasserie. Multilingual staff at the 24 hour front desk provide concierge services and can store valuables, and the hotel has a shop for holiday essentials. Business visitors will find fully equipped conference rooms and there is complimentary wireless Internet. The Jagdschloss Granitz Castle is five kilometres away and the resort town of Putbus is 11 kilometres from the hotel. Rostock Laage Airport is 120 kilometres away with an approximate driving time of 90 minutes.
