Distance to Ringhotel Loew's Merkur is six kilometres, approximately 20 minutes' drive.
Getting there. The airport is connected with Nuremberg's central train station by the U2 underground line. The train station is 400 metres from the hotel. The fare for a single ticket is 1.80 EUR, and journey time is approximately 12 minutes. Buses number 32 and 33 leave the airport for the city every 10 minutes. Getting around. The old town is easy to explore on foot. Also, Nuremberg's extensive public transport system includes trams, buses, the S Bahn (suburban commuter trains) and the U Bahn (underground trains).
