Location. The Lindner Hotel Frankenblick is housed in a contemporary building in the village of Schnett in the Thuringia Forest, five kilometres from the town of Masserberg. The Thuringia Forest Nature Reserve is just 50 metres from the hotel, and the German Toy Museum is 36 kilometres away in Sonneberg. Erfurt Airport (ERF) is 60 kilometres from the hotel, an approximate driving time of 70 minutes.
Hotel Features.The hotel's Wellness Centre offers a variety of treatments including Ayurveda, Chi Yang, hot stone therapies and Reiki, and there is an indoor swimming pool, a sauna, fitness equipment and a massage treatment room. Room service is available, and other practical amenities include wireless Internet access (surcharge), safe deposit boxes and complimentary parking.
Restaurant Frankenblick offers an � la carte menu with regional specialities and international dishes, and features panoramic views. The Open Fire Restaurant offers regional specialities with an open fire, and the Half board Restaurant serves continental dishes buffet style.
Guestrooms.The 81 guestrooms, over five floors, have pastel decor, brightly coloured fabrics and modern furnishings. All are equipped with satellite television, desks, ceiling fans and direct dial phones. Bathrooms have hair dryers and makeup mirrors.
Expert Tip. The Thuringia Forest, 50 metres from the hotel, has many hiking paths. Look out for wild cats, black storks and Bechstein's bat.
