This historical art nouveau building has been sympathetically added to with contemporary architecture; the Herrenkrug Parkhotel is set in Herrenkrug Park, 5 kilometers from the Magdeburg city center. The 147 guestrooms are decorated in a variety of architectural styles and designs including the hotel's signature Art Nouveau; all include minibars, refrigerators, toiletries, Internet connections and satellite television with pay movie channels.
The hotel's spa includes a panorama swimming pool, sauna, hot tub and Turkish steam bath. Numerous body and face treatments, including massage, are available at the beauty farm, and there is also a solarium and sundeck. In the hotel's grounds an 18 hole mini golf course, table tennis and volleyball facilities can be found and bicycles, tandems and rickshaws can be hired to explore Herrenkrug Park. The hotel's bar serves 60 different types of whisky and has a covered open air terrace. The Parkrestaurant Saisons boasts Art Nouveau d�cor and the regional and international menu served can be enjoyed from the winter garden and terrace.
