Location. Dating from 1994, the Novotel Freiburg am Konzerthaus is a contemporary seven storey hotel with a dramatic Modernist columned entrance portico, and is located in the centre of the historic city of Freiburg. The 16th century Town Hall is 600 metres from the hotel and the Cathedral is 800 metres away. Freiburg railway station is 100 metres from the hotel and Basel Airport is 60 kilometres away, with an approximate driving time of 60 minutes.
Hotel Features. Leisure facilities at the hotel include a heated indoor swimming pool, a sauna and a solarium, and a range of massage and beauty treatments are also available. Staff at the 24 hour front desk can exchange currency, provide room service (limited hours) and offer the use of a safe deposit box. Public dial up and wireless Internet access is available, and the hotel also houses a business centre. Motorists will find garage parking on site (surcharge).
The contemporary Restaurant La Rotonde serves local specialities and Mediterranean dishes and extends to a terrace for outdoor dining. The Scotch Corner Bar offers a wide range of international drinks and snacks in an informal, modern setting.

Expert Tip. Catch the cable car from the medieval Swabia Gate up to the summit of Schlossberg for superb views across Freiburg. The Museum f�r Neue Kunst (modern art museum), 900 metres away, houses a collection of 20th century avant garde works by Arp, Dix and Macke.
