The Eisenacher Hof is a medieval country inn located at the town gate of historic Eisenach, 100 meters from the marketplace. The 43 guestrooms feature modern d�cor with floral fabrics and have private bathrooms with complimentary toiletries. Medieval German specialties such as Luther Bread with Schmalz, Sauerkraut and Medieval Bread Dumplings are served in the themed banquet hall of the Lutherstuben Restaurant, where candlelit wagon wheels hang from the ceiling and entertainment is provided by jesters, maids and traditional musicians. For a more cultured day out the fortress at Wartburg, 1.5 kilometers away, provides an insight into the region's history, while the nearby Automobile Museum (800 meters away) tells the story of nearly a century of car manufacturing in Eisenbach, including the very earliest BMWs. Erfurt Airport is 60 kilometers away.
