The Ramada Hotel Darmstadt is a modern hotel with a white 1930's style facade, situated in central Darmstadt, two kilometres from the station and zoo. The hotel has 166 guestrooms, which feature simple modern decor. All include satellite television with pay movie channels, minibars, multi line telephones and bathrooms with hair dryers. Guests can relax with a drink in the bar or read a newspaper or magazine with a cup of coffee in the lobby lounge. At Frey's Restaurant German and international dishes are served in a relaxed, modern setting. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and a buffet breakfast is also available. Alternatively guests can take advantage of room service. The front desk is open round the clock and has a safe for valuables, and fax and copying facilities as well as meeting and conference rooms are available for business clients. Those arriving by car can park on site for a fee. The hotel is within two kilometres of some of Darmstadt's main attractions, including Hundertwasser House, the Comedy Theatre, Burguine Frankenstein castle and the Zoo. The nearest airport is Frankfurt, which is 25 kilometres and about a 15 minute drive away.

Frankfurt airport has two passenger railway facilities: The Regional Train Station and the Fernbahnof long distance train station. Taxis are readily available outside both terminals. Trains run between Frankfurt and Darmstadt station, which is 1.5 kilometres from the hotel. Driving directions: From the airport, follow the A5 A67 and leave at the Darmstadt Stadtmitte exit. Follow the signs to the city centre (Rheinstrasse) At the second traffic light turn right towards Hoechst. Take a left and then turn left at the third traffic light (Eschollbrueker Strasse). The hotel is 200 metres on the right.
